  I find nothing wrong with Bill Gates . He worked hard and deserves to be what he is now . Software Engineering is not only about writing code . A technically superior product may not always be a successful product.It is foolish to assume that a software product is just code .Coding is just one part of any project. Sure there are lot of good open source projects , But let me ask you this,how many of them are documented properly?How many of them have documented test cases?How many of them provide active support? I am a Software Engineer by profession and I dont feel quilty for earning my livelyhood.Any 10 year old cowboy can code , Everybody wants to do only the (intresting !) good stuff ! . Software like any other thing is a product and involves design , coding , documenting ,testing etc and all these need money and effort .
